Flower honey

The flower honeys from Hungarian apiaries, grown in the same geographical area, come from plants grown over several summers or from wild plants, which change state after spinning and during storage: from liquid to solid. This state is the natural state of our flower honey, which is also a guarantee of its authenticity and natural characters.

Origin:

It comes from the nectar of various summer plants. Contains honey from silverwood, gorse, sunflower, wild canola, milkweed and other wild plants. Flower honey contains simple sugars (monosaccharides), mostly fruit sugar (fructose) and dextrose (glucose). The higher the percentage of fructose compared to dextrose, the later the honey crystallizes, since fructose does not crystallize. The ratio of the two simple sugars in flower honey is about the same, which is why it crystallizes relatively quickly after spinning. But that doesn’t take anything away from its enjoyment value. What happens in honey is natural. The process is called crystallization, which is reformed under the influence of heat (not above 38 Celsius). With each heating effect, we reduce the beneficial effect of natural honey, so it is completely unnecessary to heat honey for consumers just to liquefy it again.

Use of honey:

One of the most consumed honeys. Its popularity is due to the varied taste of honey and the favorable price of mixed flower honey. Flower honey can be consumed in several ways. It can be a great flavoring with tea or coffee, but it’s also a great choice spread on toast in the morning. We can use it to cook, make cakes, ice cream or even dress up our food. It gives a pleasant, special taste to the food and makes the aromas more intense. Another great advantage of flower honey is that it is not only tasty, but also useful. Like honey in general, flower honey also has a beneficial effect on health. Rich in antioxidants, vitamins and minerals such as B vitamins, calcium, iron and zinc. Regular consumption can help lower blood pressure, improve cholesterol levels and strengthen the immune system. It is antimicrobial and can help fight bacteria. Flower honey also has an antiseptic and anti-inflammatory effect. Its consumption is recommended in all forms! Spoon on your own. For drinks: tea, coffee, milk. To eat: spread on bread by itself or mixed with butter, in pancakes, cakes, pasta, roasts, sweet and spicy dishes from the oriental cuisine. It is especially recommended for cakes because of its juiciness. It goes particularly well with red berries (in creams, ice cream, soups).Eat honey as naturally as possible, almost raw, as it flows out of the spinner.
